This hanging feeder is an asset to your garden with its black roof and flamed wood for a modern look. The large roof keeps the feed dry and additional drainage holes in the table further ensure any water is quickly dispersed so the feed remains tasty and fresh for the birds. The Connecticut has a sturdy and weather-resistant suspension cable with which to hang.
The wood of this feeding table is thermally modified. It has been heated to more than 180 ⁰C in a low-oxygen environment. This creates a chemical change in the structure of the wood. This increases durability. The oxygen-poor environment prevents the wood from burning, but gives every feeder a unique look.
