6 Port Metal Bird Seed Feeder Defender

The Defender Metal Seed Feeder features six feeding ports, allowing several garden birds to feed at the same time. It is fitted with our simple yet highly effective perching rings, which encourage birds to feed in their natural position, facing forwards.

CJ Wildlife was the first company to develop perching rings for seed feeders, recognising the importance of allowing birds to feed naturally. Feeding in this position enables birds to stay alert to potential predators, increasing their confidence and helping them remain at the feeder for longer.

The feeder includes an easy-flow base, along with a robust hanger and cap, all made from corrosion-resistant solid metal alloy. The tube is constructed from UV-stabilised polycarbonate, designed not to degrade when exposed to sunlight. These high-quality materials ensure the feeder will perform reliably year after year, whatever the weather.

For ease of maintenance, the feeder can be fully dismantled for thorough cleaning. A screw thread in the base makes it compatible with many of our feeder accessories, including guardians and feeder trays.
